Marketing automation for Microsoft 365

Build the campaign, get the approval, and explain the result.

Turn an audience into reviewed content, a governed campaign, and a result your team can trace without handing the customer record across four disconnected tools.

Connect a Microsoft 365 mailbox or configure a verified From address on your own sending domain. Campaign delivery remains blocked until the active workspace has one of those tenant-specific identities. Your team signs in with the work accounts they already have through Microsoft Entra ID.

Free for one user with no card. Signing in with a Microsoft Entra ID work account creates your workspace.

Product walkthrough

Watch the work move from audience to review

Follow one campaign through audience selection, content drafting, the human review step, and performance reporting. The workflow keeps the customer record, the approval decision, and the result in the same workspace.

Campaign workspace

Quarterly briefing

01

Choose the audience

Start with a saved audience and review who qualifies before content is attached.

02

Draft the content

Build the message in the same workspace as the campaign and keep every version available.

03

Approve the work

A person reviews the audience and message before delivery can move forward.

04

Read the result

Open, click, consent, and attribution activity returns to the campaign record.

The recorded walkthrough appears here only when video, captions, poster, and transcript are ready together.

What you can do

Audiences and subscribers

Rule-based dynamic segments or durable static lists, with semantic search across your subscriber base. Import from CSV, bring contacts, lists, and send history across from Constant Contact, and review the subscriber activity and consent events recorded by the current workflow.

Campaigns

Compose in a block editor, split-test subject lines and message bodies, and let the winning variant promote itself once a split converges. One-shot and drip campaigns fail closed when a step is unsupported or malformed.

Content and templates

A versioned library for every email body, subject line, landing page, and social post your team produces. Every save writes a snapshot you can compare and revert to.

Forms

A designer with conditional logic and progressive profiling. Publish on a page we host, or embed on your own site as a popup, a bar, or a one-line script mount.

Attribution and reporting

First-touch, last-touch, linear, time-decay, and position-based models over tracked links and touchpoints, with conversions pushed back to LinkedIn. Funnel, cohort retention, and an engagement heatmap of the send times that earn opens.

AI search visibility

A daily scorecard tracking whether your brand is cited in answers from Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, comparing the last seven days with the prior seven days.

Social publishing

Publish and schedule to LinkedIn member feeds and LinkedIn Company Pages through a first-party application registration, so your customers see your brand on the consent screen rather than a posting vendor's.

Advanced workflow controls

The detail behind the dashboard

These controls are in the product now. Each one has a named record or workspace surface where an operator can inspect the decision.

Separate people from security scanners

Open and click reporting uses human-qualified activity, so Microsoft Defender link checks do not inflate the result your team reads.

Keep experiments tied to the campaign

Subject and body variants, recipient assignment, and winner promotion stay on the campaign record instead of moving through a spreadsheet.

Review consent history with the subscriber

The subscriber record shows the activity and consent events the current workflow recorded. Purpose-specific enforcement and erasure-preserving consent proof are not enabled yet.

Compare five attribution models

First-touch, last-touch, linear, time-decay, and position-based views use the same tracked links and touchpoints, so the team can inspect why credit moved.

Measure visibility in AI answers

A scheduled scorecard tracks citations in Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini and compares the last seven days with the prior seven days.

Require a tenant sender identity

Campaign delivery resolves against the active workspace and fails closed unless a connected Microsoft 365 mailbox or exact verified sending domain owns the From address.

In the product: Settings, email health, and dispatch audit

Built for Microsoft 365

Connect a mailbox and outbound mail routes through your own Exchange Online using Microsoft Graph. You can instead configure a customer From address on a tenant sending domain after that exact domain is verified. If neither identity is ready, campaign delivery stays blocked.

Your team signs in with the work accounts they already have through Microsoft Entra ID. There is no separate password to issue or revoke, and removing someone from your directory removes their access here.

The deployment is a multi-tenant Azure Container App backed by Azure Database for PostgreSQL, with secrets held in Azure Key Vault and reached through a managed identity rather than stored in configuration. Each workspace is isolated by tenant on every query, not by filtering rows out of the interface.

AI you can account for

Every AI-generated record carries whether it was AI-generated, how confident the model was, and the reasoning behind it, visible in the product and in your exports. When someone asks six months later why a message said what it said, the answer is stored next to the message.

AI never publishes on its own. Every drafted message stops at a human review step before it can leave Simple Marketing.

On Scale you can point the AI features at your own model account, so tokens bill your provider and your content stays with you.

Double opt-in confirmation, one-click unsubscribe that honours RFC 8058, and a hosted preference center are available. The subscriber record shows consent events recorded by those current flows alongside delivery and engagement activity.

Consent is currently governed by the global subscriber state while purpose-specific state moves through its observe-first rollout. That purpose layer is not enforced, and erasure-preserving proof still requires legal and privacy approval before enablement.

Administrators get a searchable, exportable audit log.

Pricing

What this release does not do

You need a Microsoft Entra ID work account per user. Campaign delivery additionally needs either a Microsoft 365 tenant with Exchange Online and an administrator who can connect the sending mailbox, or a customer From address on a tenant domain that has completed sending verification. Publishing to a LinkedIn Company Page requires the administrator role on that page.

Run a real workspace before you decide

Simple Marketing is free for one user, so you can import a list, build a segment, and review a campaign before anyone asks you for a card. The upgrade trigger is inviting a second person.
